Peakvisor - Outdoor destinations worldwide

PeakVisor is a futuristic navigation app which uses AR technology to aid skiers, mountaineers, and climbers on alpine adventures.

I write thoroughly-researched guides to national parks, mountain ranges, ski resorts, and countries to add detail and personal experience to the app’s database. During a recent trip around the world, I completed several new pieces on the Carpathian Mountains, South Asia, and the Himalayas.

While writing for U of U Health, I worked as a managing editor of the 2023 System Summary. This document is a broad-scale overview of a health system comprising 22,000 employees. It attracts new talent and catches the eye of local legislators.

Collaborating with doctors, scientists, designers, writers, editors, and publishers is a titanic undertaking. I learned a metric ton in the process.

Alpinsider is a resource for information on all things alpine: thoroughly-researched gear reviews, technical insights, and how-tos for mountaineering in the modern world. With a strong emphasis on SEO, alpinsider not only reads well, it performs well.

This platform allows me to put my adventure experience, brand awareness, and practical skills to good use.

 

Skyblue overland - travel blog

Skyblue Overland is an outdoor travel blog featuring insider information on adventure towns, National Parks, and gear.

Writing for Skyblue, I get to wear both my naturalist cap and my international traveler’s backpack, painting natural landscapes in all their splendor. Sometimes I even play photographer.

Airlock is an event production company curating eclectic experiences in the tech, media, and gaming world.

This project was my first foray into writing site copy, and a departure form my comfort zone. It was a fun challenge to adapt to new lingo while staying true to professional branding.
